My Nest
I made a nest tonight on the couch to sit next to JK.
I would like to share with you how I made my nest, so that you can make one too if you would like.
First, I jumped up onto the couch and climbed onto the blanket. Then, I walked around in a circle and used my feet to kick up the blanket into a big soft pile that was shaped kind of like a bowl. Next, I pulled the edge of the blanket over the the opening in the bowl shape to make a cave shape. Finally, my nest was ready, so I burrowed in from the bottom and poked my head up through the top.
Cozy! I highly recommend you try making your own nest today.

Even AugDogs Get the Blues
I am very sad to report that I had another seizure this morning. I was glad to be in the bed with JK when it happened, because she could easily comfort me and sing soft songs to me. I had not had a seizure since November, so we all thought that the medicine had made them go away.
I guess not.
I feel better now, but I'm going to lie low and take it easy for a little while.
Hopefully I won't have another seizure for a long long time.

Weekend Treats
I got to try two new foods this weekend, and they were both winners.
Mr. Wolf let me slurp little bits of fancy ice cream out of the cup after he and JK had finished the ice cream.
JK says she wishes her whole head could fit into the ice cream container so that she could lick out all the bits of ice cream. She likes Chocolate kinds better, but dogs cannot have chocolate, so I will have to take her word for it.
On Saturday afternoon, JK was making lunch for herself and Mr. Wolf, and she decided to make me a special bowl of tasty food. She made me my own serving of baked sweet potato with tiny little pieces of cheese on top. Two of my favorite foods! Together!
So, now to the ratings.
Food: Ben & Jerry's Maple Blondie Ice Cream
Rating: 3 out of 5 Cheesy Treats
Highlights: Sweet, creamy, fun to stick my whole head in the container
Problems: SOMEONE had eaten all the good bits out of the ice cream, so I only had dribbles of melted cream.
Food: Sweet potato mash with cheese bits
Rating: 4 out of 5 Cheesy Treats
Highlights: JK made this especially for me because she knows I love sweet potatos and cheese. And I LOVE sweet potatos and cheese
Problems: Slightly undercooked. Sweet potato skin was quite tough. Could have used more cheese.

AugBlog - Now with Chomptastic Video!
Sometimes JK and Mr. Wolf will let me eat a little taste of things that dogs are not really supposed to eat. And sometimes, JK will make something that dogs usually cannot eat, but change it a little bit so that I can try it. Tonight she made "GAugamole". Regular guacamole has lots of onions and garlic in it, so I cannot have any, even though I love avocado. (*transcriber's note - some vets do not think that avocado is a good for dogs either, but our vet neurologist gave us the OK to give Aug Avoderm dog food, which is made with avocado). So JK made Gaugamole, which is basically just mashed up avocado, so I could eat it. She even let me eat it with little bits of blue chips! Another once-in-a-while treat.
To see 6 crunchy seconds of me enjoying my chip and gaugamole, check out the video!
New Food: Chips and Gaugamole
Rating: 4 out of 5 Cheesy Treats
Highlights: Avocado is tasty, chips are crunchy and delicious.
Problems: I can only have a little avocado and a few chips sometimes as a special treat.
Now that I'm done taste testing, it's time for a snooze.
Yay! This is gonna be good.
Yum!

Keeping Busy in the Cold.
Oh my ears and whiskers! It is so cold outside! I really prefer to be indoors on cold days like today. Here are some things that I have been doing to keep busy inside the house.
1. Keep the Warm Clothes Warm
2. Learn how to make my new squeaky soft bell toy squeak.
3. Practice my Magic Powers every day.
I hope you are staying warm! Let me know if you need me to keep any of your clothes toasty for ya.

2011 Resolutions
Happy New Year Blogfriends!
2011 is off to a great start so far. Mr. Wolf has been home for many days in a row after being gone in Boston for more than a whole week!
This was me waiting for Mr. Wolf to come home from Boston:
JK and Mr. Wolf made some resolutions for the new year, and I would like to make some too.
Auggie's 2011 Resolutions:
1. Try more new foods.
2. Be nicer to the neighbors.
3. Always tell JK or Mr. Wolf if I need to go outside.
4. Stop biting my claws.
There. That looks like a good list! Happy New Year everyone! I hope you have your favorite people close to you all year long.

Boo.
It was a long wait. JK and I had some fun, and she let me have several chew bones at once because I love to hide them and then come back and un-hide them. But mostly JK and I watched movies and went for walks and waited for Mr. Wolf.
JK and I went to the airport to pick up Mr. Wolf and bring him home. When I saw him walking towards our car, I was so happy that my tail almost wagged me off the car seat! I wish JK had taken a video of that.
And this is where I have been since he came home:
