Me, in the back seat, not excited about the spa.
JK goes to work a lot. She leaves early in the morning, and comes home when it is already dark. But sometimes JK doesn't go to work, and she stays home with me and Mr. Wolf. I like those days when she is home with us, and we try to do fun things together. Well, Monday she got to stay home, and Mr. Wolf decided to make me an appointment at the Dog Spa. I didn't like the sound of that at first. I heard JK and Mr. Wolf talk about "baths" and "clippings", and I didn't really want to go. Even though I usually really like to ride in the car, I was not very excited about this trip to the Dog Spa. I even sat in the back seat.
JK and Mr. Wolf handed me to a nice lady who washed me up in a great big tub, with warm swirly water and nice-smelling soap. She washed my ears and clipped my nails and rubbed my fur with a warm towel.
Oooooh I smell so nice!
JK and Mr. Wolf declared that they love the Dog Spa because it is the only place in the world where people do not think they are crazies.
The spa lady gave me a red swirly bandanna to wear, to show that I was clean.
I look pretty handsome in it, don't you think?
I even got a report card, so JK and Mr. Wolf would know that I was a perfect gentleman at the spa, and that I was welcome to come back. JK said that if I go back, I should get a massage and a facial. I don't know what that means, but I'd give it a try. They have good treats there for after you finish your bath.
