The Aug Monster

JK and I are playing our silly monster game on the couch with Mr. Wolf.

GRRRR and GRRROOWWWLL! I am the AUG MONSTER! And I will jump out of my couch nest to pretend to scare you with my silly dragon face and pretend to bite you with my pretend angry teeth!

JK and I like to pretend that we are growly monsters sometimes. She pretends to sneak up on me, even though I can see her coming, and then she wiggles her finger near my mouth and I pretend to chomp on it (but I don't really bite down - I just snap at it and wag my tail). She makes a growling sound, and so do I, and sometimes I make funny faces and JK laughs. I like this game.

She knows I'm playing, though, because I always give her kisses after she pretends to sneak up on me.

New Game

JK took a funny cardboard box shaped like a piece of chocolate cake and hid 2 of my peanut butter treats and one of the Squirrels inside the box. Then she gave me the box to figure out how to get to the treats. I really liked this game. I could smell the tasty treats, and I was very eager to find out how to get them out of the box. Eventually, I figured out that if I first pulled the Squirrel out of the box, I could fit my head into the box and get the treats.

Then, I figured out that if I keep pushing and tipping the box around all different ways, the tiny treats would fall out, and I wouldn't have to get the Squirrel out first. I could just tip the box over and the treats came out all by themselves.

This was a good game. I liked to play it.
